In an emergency or a disaster, if your home were unsafe to live in, you might end up sleeping in a tent. Why not try tent camping in advance? If you get good at it and learn to enjoy it, you’d be one up on the first-time campers during an emergency.

Camping in a tent, you see, gets you away from the electrical grid, water piped into your house, and a flush toilet in the other room. There’s no air conditioning, no central heating, and no waterproof roof. For some odd reason, some people think camping is fun!
